Personality: He is our professor for group V. He is a very understanding lecturer. He is very friendly and has a lot of knowledge.He always teaches about his personal experience in class.He personally enjoy going to Aman Central. He not only teaches about entrepreneurship, but in the meantime, he also teaches about life and moral values in every of our lecture.He always encourage his study to try something new and exceed their potential.

This task will explain about successful entrepreneur based on entrepreneurial trait that he have. Successful entrepreneur that we choose is Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong. He was born on 19 February 1918. He is founder of Genting Highland from an unexplored hilltop into one of the world's most successful place. Genting Highland also known as Resort World Genting is a hill resort in Malaysia developed by Genting Group. Genting Highland is a beautiful place because it stated at the hill. At there have theme park that very interesting.
Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong trait’s
All people especially entrepreneur have their own trait to make them successful in their business. Traits can be defined as a distinguishing characteristic or quality, especially of one’s personal nature (dictionary). When they have their traits they can be successful. This is traits that Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong have:
1. Visionary
Visionary can be defined as thinking about or planning the future with imagination or wisdom. So, this is trait that he have to become successful person. The visionary is too high until the surrounding person say that he crazy because their dream. But now their dream and visionary become reality. The visionary that he want is to make Gunung Ulu Kali become interesting place. Nows, Gunung Ulu Kali turned into Genting Highland that known as in the world. Besides, it will help many races because they will work at the place.
2. Open risk taker
Every people in the world will in front with risk in what they do. So, every entrepreneurs will faced it to solve the risk. Any potential for a fall must we willing to accept with courage and make it as a springboard to continue to build a bright future. The emergence of a world-class tourism center is the brainchild of a Chinese man who was once labeled as crazy a long time ago but he take a risk to build up the Genting Highland. People have said that the idea was not going anywhere and promised return on capital investment as no one is interested in a business like that. He responded to the challenge by working 2 shifts all week to save costs.
He and his friends had to stay in the woods and caves close. He was the first to work on shifts 24 hours a day throughout the week to ensure that goal is achieved. He will also be among the first to get to work and be the last man to come home from work. He always keeps its employees and considers that all its employees are its most valuable assets. Lastly he successful to build it. Now, First World Hotel is the largest hotel in the world. Everyone has the right to succeed and they should be given the opportunity to try his luck. Because all human beings have the ambition. They can make any figure as inspiration to succeed. The hard work will bear fruit in every good work to be done. Indeed, every ambition and dreams to charge full attention and the highest sacrifice.
3. Observant
Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong also have observant person. This is because, before he plan to build Genting Highland, The idea of building a hilltop resort was first conceived when Lim Goh Tong was having a dinner in the Cameron Highlands. As he was enjoying the soothing cool breeze of the Cameron Highlands, an idea struck him that as the standard of living rose steadily in Malaysia, more and more people would visit mountain resorts for relaxation and recreation, but Cameron Highlands was too far away from the capital city Kuala Lumpur, therefore building a mountain resort nearer to Kuala Lumpur would have great business potential.
3. Observant

After doing some research and observant, Lim found Gunung (mountain in Malay) Ulu Kali at a place called Genting Sempah to be suitable location for his plan. He formed an expedition and explored the place, collecting a wealth of data on the topography, drainage, soil conditions and other relevant aspects of the region, this proved to be very useful in drawing up plans for developing the resort. Most thought it was really risky and reckoned Lim who was financially comfortable to be foolish to invest heavily in money and time to develop Genting, but Lim brushed off all these negativities and went ahead firmly with his plan.
4. Outcome oriented
The next trait that Lim have is outcome oriented. Before he become successful person. Lim was started the work at the bottom before open the Kien Huat Company as a contractor first class. Besides, Tan Sri also come from poor family during he come to Tanah Melayu. Then, he work hard until he success. From the hard work, he was help many people to work with him. Now, many races was work at Genting Highland and he was help them to get the money and all the employees become asset for him to success.
5. Proactive

Everyone has their own dream and ambition in this world. The most important dream is to become rich and wealthy person. Many ways had been use in order to get wealthy however become wealthy people does not guarantee our life to always become successful. The wealth that had been conquered by from many ways, either wealthy from born in wealthy family and sometimes wealth come from hardworking just to get one mouthful meal.
To him, all the bitter sweet life that had been through make him become matured to become one successful entrepreneur that has large his networking or connection in this industry to handle all the barrier that will go through either easy or hard. The entrepreneur that I mean is Jimmy Choo Yeang Keat or been known as Dato’ Jimmy Choo. He was born on November 15, 1948 at Penang, Malaysia. Jimmy Choo is the name that had been known as brand for exclusive and style shoes.
He and shoes cannot be separate from his young age times, this is because his father work as full times shoemaker. He studied at Shih Chung Primary School in Love Lane, Penang until Year Six. He always helps his father from the young age and manage to design his first own shoe at the age of 11 years. After that, he continued his studies at London in shoemaker and fashion. His father support his studies for the first year, however 3 years later, to support his studies and for own expenses he had been working part-times as cleaner at restaurant and shoes factory.
After finish his study in 4 years, choosing to remain in England, Choo opened his first shop in Hackney in 1986 in an old hospital building. It did not take long for Choo reputation to build. Within two years of opening his shop, Choo shoes were featured in an eight-page spread in Vogue magazine.
Dato’ Jimmy Choo has displayed good networked traits as a successful entrepreneur. His network has started in 1988 when he was showing his designing shoes at London Fashion Week. At that time, nobody know Jimmy Choo but he was very lucky as Vogue’s Kate Phelan saw his shoes and told him that it would be put in the Vogue magazine. It was a great start for Jimmy Choo and it then has drawn the attentions and interest from Princess Diana who donned his Choo footwear almost at every place that she went. Vogue has raised up Jimmy Choo brand and then it also drew attention from an accessories editor at Vogue named Tamara Mellon and then both Choo and Mellon became partners when founded Jimmy Choo Ltd. However, after their collaboration stop, Jimmy Choo network has not put to a stop.
In 2014, Dato’ Jimmy Choo network further developed when he worked very closely with Tourism Malaysia. He was chosen as an ambassador and organize plenty television shows as well as press interview. Besides, he also worked closely with London College of Fashion with purpose to promote education and more new designers to come to Malaysia. Furthermore, in recent years, Dato’ Jimmy Choo has also became an Ambassador for Footwear Education at the London College of Fashion and spokesperson for the British Council in its efforts to reach out to foreign students.
All these have formed a great network and helped Dato’ Jimmy Choo achieved another great success not only in overseas country but also in his native country, Malaysia. Previously, his business focused in overseas but with such good network, he has been able to expand farther back to his native country where he has plans to set up a shoemaking institute.
